Personhood Florida ProLife PAC Increases Endorsed Candidate List to Over 75 Candidates for the 2014 Primary and General Election

Congressman Tom Rooney

Congressman Tom Rooney

Personhood FL ProLife PAC today increases it’s endorsement of over 75 candidates for federal, state, district, and local offices across Florida. Endorsed candidates include Congressman Tom Rooney and FL House Members Larry Ahern and Ray Rodrigues. Personhood FL ProLife PAC endorsed Republicans, Democrats, Libertarian, American Independent Party, and NPA for every office from US Congress to Soil and Water Conservation and every position in-between.

All endorsed candidates signed a Personhood Affirmation indicating their agreement to Personhood FL ProLife PAC’s comprehensive prolife principles covering not only abortion but also abortion funding, RU-486, fetal stem cell research, human cloning, fetal tissue research, and assisted suicide and euthanasia. Candidates also affirmed that all humans should be protected under the Florida and US Constitutions from the beginning of the biological development of that human being to natural death. Moreover, candidates agreed to defend all innocent human life including preborn babies irrespective of their manner of conception, the elderly, and the disabled. (Read Personhood FL ProLife PAC’s ProLife Principles and Personhood Affirmation here.)

Personhood FL ProLife PAC Chair1 Bryan Longworth praised the endorsements and encouraged prolife voters to support prolife candidates. “Personhood FL ProLife PAC has today endorsed candidates who have committed to protecting all innocent human life, without exception. It’s no longer sufficient to merely be against abortion in certain circumstances. Being prolife in the 21st Century demands that we defend innocent human life in and out the womb from beginning to end. I encourage prolife Florida voters to support these candidates with their votes, their time, and their donations.”

The following candidates have signed the Personhood FL ProLife PAC Personhood Affirmation demonstrating their commitment to be prolife in the 21st Century.

An * after a candidate’s name indicates that the candidate doesn’t have a primary race.

  1. I am really concern how an endorsement is not given to a person with a view of reasonable concerns when a child is subjected to incest and or rape by a parent or others relatives. Many people stand for things at that moment and trade out it's real concern by being Unpredictable with a true answer. I spoke with my Heart the truth about many things, especially being force to accept a pregnancy at an age when a child is still playing "jump rope". This certainly the problem we face today, young mothers with little insight of what is expected of her and dealing with such a cruel act, I would hope as a Human Being to have a kinder heart, and just listen to reason as it is dealt to the lives of many young mothers today. We pounce on them for not having the skill to raise their children and we are not helping when we have this Undo Burden place on their lives. My concerns are as many who claim to only believe the answers you placed before them will suffice. I am true to my God and everyday pray my decisions are correct as I embark my life as a Mother, Grand-Mother, and Great-Grand Mother as well, I'm Human and I've listen to horrible stories and seen may outcome of deceit of Stranger Praying on Children. I am Catholic and know this is not a perfect World, but it is the best we have and still trying to make it right with our concerns and actions. I would love to have your endorsement, but I'll be Okay without it. We speak of Jesus through God, and Live on the belief he(man) is doing is accepted by The Laws Of God. I wonder Judging could possibly be a Sin, I ask Whom am I to Judge? Gloria Wiggins

any recomendations for circuit judge 5th judicial circuit, group 3?

  2. I believe that a woman has the right to choose. I am in favor of counseling. But the ultimate choice stays with the woman with her family, her doctor and her God.

  3. Rick Everitt, Candidate for Fire Commissioner South Walton Fire District Seat 3
Recently Retired State of Florida (Panhandle Area Educational Consortium), where I served for 30 years as the Program Coordinator for Technology Support. I have based my professional career on building relationships from Washington D.C. to Tallahassee. I believe that these relationships can help all of us in south Walton. I believe that to those that have been blessed by the opportunities presented them should be willing to give back to the communities they live. I understand the significant role that the commissioners of the South Walton Fire District play in the safety of all of us in this community. I feel that I can bring a great deal of experience and dedication to the people of this district by serving as your next Seat 3 commissioner. At this time, I just want to introduce myself and offer my service to you.
I can be reached @ 850-326-2484 and promise to always be available to you to discuss how we might work together for South Walton County. Email: rickeverittcampaign@gmail.com Facebook Page: Rick Everitt for Fire Commissioner Seat 3
    • I believe that some of the greatest challenges facing Walton County are: The lack of community involvement in government, infrastructure needs of our county, and investments in the things that matter most, education, safety, medical needs of our community, and youth of our county. Basic leadership skills are absent too many times as important decisions are being made by a handful of people.
    • What has disappointed me most in life is that the people that complain most about their life circumstances are usually the ones that are not involved at all. I think that this is reflected in church attendance, school support groups, and county and city governments.
    • I think anyone running for public office should have a history of service. I think the quote “You cannot build a reputation on what you are going to do” is so important in the life histories of all candidates. I would urge all Walton County voters to look at what the candidates have done. I am proud of what I have been able to accomplish in my professional career. The one major goal I can show in the last five years that has and will effect the lives of all of us is the successful efforts we made in Washington D.C. working with the Federal Communications Commission to obtain funding for the building of internet infrastructure needs of small and rural counties. Walton County has been able to build out hundreds of miles of fiber to serve their needs for 10% of the actual cost.
    • Keeping taxes low. We send far more to Tallahassee and Washington D.C. then we ever get back. I would work with the South Walton Fire District to build the very best fire stations using money we have already sent out of the county. We must prepare for the future and build the infrastructure as we go.
    • The top 3 things that guide and strengthen me are clearly reflective in my life over the last 45 years.
My personal relationship with my Lord. In 1972, playing football for Troy State University, my roommate and I established and founded the first chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletics. This relationship is not just on Sunday morning; it is day by day, hour by hour, and minute by minute. The church, and personal relationships developed over my entire life guide me and is clearly evident to anyone who knows me or would like to get to know me.
Life lessons learned on the football field. Teamwork, Competition. Sportsmanship, Relationships. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Never accept losing, and never give up. Pages can be written about these life lessons.
Family, the most important institution in the entire world. When families are strong, churches are strong, schools are strong, communities are strong, governments are strong, and fire departments are strong.

  4. What about the preborn woman? Does she have no rights. I would assume that she would choose life if given the choice. So at what point does she have constitutional rights? Do you believe that she has a right to life at any time before she exits her mother's body? If she is born at 23 weeks she has a strong chance of surviving. Should the doctors try to save her? Do her parents decide if she gets medical care? Does a child have to be "wanted" to be allowed to live? Do you believe God supports the taking of an innocent life? You know we've moved past the "oh, it's a blob of tissue" lie and we now know that those blobs of tissue are tiny living human beings. Innocent beings who feel pain at 17 weeks and comfort themselves by sucking their thumbs at 20 weeks. Do you know that i've heard many women state that they deeply regret their abortion but I've never heard one say they regret choosing life. Even if they chose adoption they were glad they didn't kill their child. These are just some things to consider. Thanks for reading through it.
